So this past weekend I did the Racing4Charity at Harris Hill track event. I felt a little like an odd duck, considering there was only one other Porsche, and of the rest of the 58 cars, there were a TON of Subarus. All in all it was a pretty good day on the track. Because it was wet, we spent a lot of time digging people out of the mud so we didn’t get as many runs as we would have liked before the massive rain came. We had one Vette go off on the DAMN turn twice on his first lap out both times. We spent a lot of time digging him out. Not sure I would go back to this track, it was so bumpy in the wrong places, I didn’t get to drive the car the way I would have liked, but I really love the way my car performed.

The video is from the best few laps of my day, timewise. I actually stabilized the video some, so it’s actually a lot bumpier than it looks.

As you can see we had a full track with 60 cars, and there was a lot of eye candy.

I am still undecided on this track. On the one hand, i would like to try this track totally dry on a sunny day since i was still getting the feel of everything before the rain came. On the other hand, i imagine what this track used to be like, and think that maybe i should spend my racing dollars on something that isn’t quite so riddled with speed bumps. Time will tell.
